Decades of strategic upgrades advanced Swiftwood’s Forest Products journey in wood remanufacturing. Our operations began in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia with a humble-sized industrial shop. With the ongoing increase in our FBM output and constant upgrades in moulders and machinery, expansion became necessary…
Today, we sit in Maple Ridge, British Columbia in our 1.5-acre yard, warmly welcomed into our new home and community by Maple Ridges MLA Bob D’Eith. Our new shop currently produces 750,000 FBM per month and has a dry storage capacity of 65,000 FBM. We have 3 moulders, a resaw service and a chop-line to break down lumber effectively. Our Resaw cuts Approx 15,000 LIN/shift. Our Chop-Line cuts 15,000 FBM/shift and up to 25 piles/sorts, and all 3 of our Moulders combined deliver 90,000 FBM/shift.
